A couple may have their obese children removed after social services ruled they had not lost enough weight.

But although…

As a teen I did starvation diets to try and force my normal and healthy body weight and size to fit a ‘idealized’ body shape and weight. For 2 years I lived on less than 1000 calories and exercised daily (I was in drill team and the swim team). At the end I weighed maybe 15 lbs less than what I had started at and still did not fit these fake expectations.

As an adult I am large and healthy. I no longer hate my body or myself for not being able to fit societies perverse view of what my healthy body shape and weight should be.
